HATHA VINYASA  YOGA

The Sanskrit word " yoga " means union, integration, unification. Union of the human being with God or the Absolute, and -also- this word refers to the integration of all the parts that make up people: the physical plane, the mental plane and the spiritual plane.

In this sense, Hatha Yoga (commonly known as "physical yoga") provides numerous tools to harmonize, strengthen and make the human body more flexible, as well as resources to achieve mental clarity and inner peace. The word "vinyasa" refers to the dynamic sequences of postures, linked through the respiratory rhythm.

The main foundation of this discipline is to make this state of union conscious through the practice of postures or  asanas  which, combined with mindful breathing, bring the practitioner to the present moment and predispose him to a state of meditation. All the learnings achieved in the yoga class are then transferred to daily life, notably improving the quality of life thanks to the correct exercise, adequate breathing and conscious rest.

Among the many reasons to start the practice of Hatha Yoga are:

  • Maintain good physical condition, gain flexibility, vigor and strength.

  • As a complement to various medical therapies.

  • To reduce the symptoms of chronic diseases.

  • As a pre-meditation practice, to calm emotions.

  • To reduce stress and fight insomnia.

  • For pleasure.

Hatha Yoga can be practiced by all types of people, regardless of their age and physical condition, since the rhythm and intensity of the Yoga class is adapted to each one, respecting their possibilities, their limits and needs.
